What do you have planned for UA15 at Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour? TA: For UA15 I’m developing a project called Digital Forest. It’s a sculptural installation of over 300 ‘robotic’ plants which use Arduino microcontrollers, servo motors and light sensors to activate artificial plants. They respond to the audience’s presence in the room creating an interactive relationship between people and these electronic plants. Read More..

AGUILAR installation presented at NUIT BLANCHE 2014
Nuit Blanche, the Parisian annual dusk to dawn Arts Festival features Aguilar's new installation 'Picture Element (2014)'. Picture Element is a giant pixel. The word pixel is a contraction of "picture" and "element". This work is an extension of an element that constitutes our digital screens. Picture Element makes visible what we do not see and yet is before our eyes. The choice of the shape of the pixel is an adaptation of a true pixel (Samsung) choosen for Aguilar's form of stained glass. Supported by Eric Hussenot

AGUILAR at BUNDANON TRUST 2014
French artist Antoine Aguilar will reside at Bundanon Trust 7-30th of April 2014. During his residency, Aguilar will work in the natural environment of the Shoalhaven river and its surrounding landscape to create a personal installation to document his experience in the 'landscape that influenced Arthur Boyd’s remarkable Shoalhaven river series'. The results will be on display as part of a new body of work in May 2014 at 223-225 Liverpool Street Darlinghurst.
